In an age of selfishness, we should not be surprised most of our prayers are to do with our own affairs, relationships and problems. The Jerusalem Project will help us to get back in line with scripture, to be praying for the nation and the nations and the long term hottest trouble spot in the world. This is a time to pray for all peoples particularly in Jerusalem but across the Middle East.

As a Christian and a Member of Parliament, I believe that God is calling on the Church worldwide to humble ourselves and pray (2 Chron. 7:14). I encourage every leader, every individual to take 10/15 minutes to pray for Israel and the Peace of Jerusalem on the 2nd October 2005.

I believe that if the Church in the West wants to see the longed for revival, it should publicly pray for the peace of Jerusalem and allow the Scriptures to reveal the heart of God to us at this time.
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem : 'May those you love you be secure. May there be peace within your walls and security within your citadels.' (Psalm 122:6).
